WWII 8th Air Force Lieutenant Pilot’s ETO Jacket

The collar carries the insignia of an Army Air Force officer, with the rank bars of a Second Lieutenant on the shoulders. On the left shoulder is the patch of the 8th Air Force, while the lower left sleeve bears three bullion overseas service chevron. On the upper left breast is a clutch back pilot wing. Below this is a two place pin back ribbon bar with the ribbons for the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal. Below this is a three place pin back ribbon bar with the ribbons for the European Campaign Medal; the World War II Victory Medal; and the World War II Occupation Medal. The two slash pockets are correctly lined with beige corduroy. The interior neck has the label of “Colonial Uniforms”, with stitch holes visible in the lining beneath the “Colonial” label where another label was once in place. Overall the jacket is in very good used condition.
Uniforms
