Lieutenant Swett signed his autograph on an an envelope which bears the First Day of Issue cancellation of a U.S. postage stamp commemorating the delivery of the first Liberty Ship. The envelope is accompanied by a printed copy of Lieutenant Swett’s citation for the Medal of Honor. The envelope is also accompanied by a handwritten note from Lieutenant Swett which is dated March 10, 1996, and which forwarded the signed envelope to the requester. Very good condition.
