PCD Liquid Dye Violet Personal Care Dyes (PCD) are cosmetic dyes perfect for making a range of personal care products. From soap making to bath bombs, shampoos to body sprays and much more, they are perfect for use in water-based solutions. If you are purchasing a 500g or 1kg size we suggest adding a twist top nozzle to your order to help decant the dye from the bottle. Liquid dyes are designed to be extremely soluble in water. Therefore, extensive mixing should not be necessary. We always recommend measuring dyes by weight only. This colourant is glycerine based, with a thicker solution meaning a little goes a long way. Recommended Usage: Pale Shades – 0.02% or less Medium Shades – 0.05% – 0.1% Dark Shades – 0.3% Please Note: These colours do not work in wax based products such as candles, wax melt, bath melts, lip balms etc.
