Suitable for high performance horses, pregnant and lactating mares and youngstock. Low starch and high calcium to help aid in the prevention of gut ulcers. In times of higher energy, protein & higher calcium requirements (muscle recovery and losses in milk) protein pack is the perfect high quality addition to the diet, This product differs from our Lucerne Pellets in that Protein Pack contains only the leaf of the lucerne pellet cold pressed into a dense high protein pellet, where as the Lucerne pellets contain the leaf and stalk creating a coarser, lower protein, higher fibre pellet. Feeding guide 0.5 kg per 100kg bodyweight one or two times daily depending on demand.
